Serving The Beach gardening community since 1976

Paul Greenblatt Landscape

I have lived and worked in "The Beach" in eastern Toronto since 1976.

Paul GreenblattIt is an area that was once and in some ways still is, a red oak canopy forest, growing in the sandy soils and slopes that reach down to the shore of Lake Ontario. Follow the old shoreline north of Kingston Road and there the gardener is blessed with better soils and less tree cover, providing wonderful opportunities.

The Beach has a popular "high street" along Queen St. East and a boardwalk running parallel to the lake.

Services
Every garden is unique with its own circumstances and culture. I maintain and develop each garden based on its micro-environment, creating that special place.
My services include design, ongoing maintenance and development, especially alternatives to lawns.

Rock and flagstone
I love to use rockery to create outcroppings, dry streambeds, ponds, paths and patios. Using natural stone enhances the garden environment.

Plants for all seasons
The garden should reflect the four seasons. So look for plants that can express themselves in the winter garden as well as in the spring, summer and fall.
