At about one year of age, White Bellied Caiques start to moult and will lose black feathers on their heads, turning the crown to a brilliant orange.
Belly feathers will also change to snow white in colour, as the bird moults.
Our babies are closed banded with stainless steel bands. DNA sex certificate is included.
Shipping within Canada is available only on weekends.
We require a small non-refundable deposit to reserve your baby, with the balance paid in full before shipping, or at pickup. Payment is due in full when the baby is weaned. Boarding fees may apply if not picked up within one week of being weaned. Possible payment methods include direct deposit, internet transfer, certified cheque, or cash.
