We are a Canadian outfitter with more than 20 years experience arranging travel in Cuba. The Cuban organization with which we work is an agency of the Ministry of Science and the Environment. The guides are local with years of experience and work with some of the best trained dogs to be found anywhere. The hunting is 15 to 20 minutes from the lodge. The accommodation is in 1 bedroom air-conditioned cabins. Meals are abundant, well prepared and feature game birds and other local specialties. A village to explore is 5 minutes from the lodge. Hunting is from blinds (more than 40 of them) on land and in the mangrove lagoons. Skiffs are used to pole out to the blinds. An experienced hunter will take his limit daily. The preserve, which is comprised of 6 thousand contiguous hectares easily supports a 6 day hunt with up to 8 or 10 hunters. There are bass lakes nearby if you want to get in a little afternoon fishing.
