Jazz in Cuba is a fusion of African, North American and Spanish musical traditions.* Cuba has become a Mecca to International Jazz musicians. This festival provides a superlative educational platform for young Canadian and Cuban instrumentalists.

Festival Highlights
Awards will be presented at the final evening concert which features
the most outstanding Canadian & Cuban groups as well as a professional
Cuban Jazz Ensemble.
Festival Guidelines
Bands must perform three (3) selections:
- 1 Swing;
- 1 Ballad;
- 1 Latin
The 30 minute festival performance includes set-up and strike time. (Please note that School and Public Concerts should be longer.)
