Dec 20th, 4pm - View from the Royal Palace of the mountains surrounding Kabul. Looking at those mountains, one understands how difficult it must be to conduct military campaigns in Afghanistan. It is such an unforgiving land.

Dec 16^th, 13:30pm – The burka is the norm, rather than the exception in Kabul.
