Catherine
is the Director of Technical Resources for Global Knowledge, Cisco’s largest
worldwide training partner. Catherine is a Cisco Certified Systems Instructor
(CCSI), Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) and a Cisco Certified
Security Specialist (CSS-1).
Catherine
has in-depth knowledge of routing technologies, security systems, and remote
access. Catherine internetworking
career started as a LAN manager, promoted to WAN manager, and eventually
becoming the nation-wide WAN manager for a federal department. Catherine was the Master Instructor for the
Building Cisco Remote Access Networks (BCRAN) and Managing Cisco Networks
Security (MCNS) courses at Global Knowledge Network (Canada). To this day,
Catherine still teaches courses: Managing Cisco Network Security, Cisco Secure
PIX Firewall Advanced and Building Cisco Remote Access Networks. Catherine has a Masters in Business
Administration (MBA) with a major in Management Information Systems (M.I.S.).

Networks, ISBN 1-57870-228-3
and Building Cisco Scalable
Internetworks, ISBN 1-58705-084-6
available in January 2003. She
has also edited Building Cisco Remote Access Networks, ISBN
