Crash Test Toys - Tunnel Bags

- These Tunnel bags were the only product used to hold tunnels at the 2001 and 2003 AAC Ontario regionals, and the 2002 AAC Canadian Nationals with tremendous success!
- These tunnel sandbags have proven to be very effective in holding tunnels in place under trial conditions. They are painless to use, look sharp & greatly increase course safety by removing the medieval steel & wooden frames currently used.
The sandbag is designed to fill the area where the base of the tunnel meets the ground, much like a wheel chock does for a tire. This prevents the tunnel from rolling while the wide upper part of the bag supports the tunnel & the strap secures it in place without collapsing the tunnel like bungee cords. Overloading the bags is self-defeating as it prevents them from forming the correct shape to fit the tunnel base.
- Made using 18oz. Reinforced vinyl (truck tarp), rot-proof nylon upholstery thread, Velcro & nylon seatbelt webbing. The vinyl is an extremely tough material used for transport truck covers.
- Available in Red, Blue & Green with yellow welting and Yellow with blue welting. All side seams are double stitched.
- Custom colours available - Eg. 'Canada' set with maple leaf or red, white and blue bags - please inquire!
- Top loading with Velcro closure. Bags are shipped empty & require 10 - 12 Kg. (20 - 25 lbs.) of play sand per bag (i.e. soft sand, not 'concrete'sand)
- Re-designed strap provides enough adjustment to allow expansion to fit chute barrels. The strap is simply passed through the heavy duty D-ring on the paired bag, folded back & held by the large Velcro tab.
- The webbing loop at the top of the bag makes an easy carry handle during course changes.
- It is suggested that the Master course builder instruct helpers that they are not at the Highland Games & that the 'Sandbag Toss' is not an event at their trial.
- Tunnel Bags - set of 4 (4 bags are required for one tunnel): $100. Shipping Weight: 1600 grams
- Tunnel Bags - set of 2 (For use with a chute): $50.
