February 11, 2001,
Semi-finals for Wembley Ladies Bonspiel
Wembley, Alberta, Canada

In the 4th end with two rocks to be thrown, the Ladies on the sheet beside us mentioned that it looked like we had a chance for an 8-ender. We hadn't realised until she had mentioned it. The opposition threw her last rock, a perfect draw into the 4' and my third (Mom) said, "OK Tammy all you have to do is a double raise take-out for our big end". When I got to the hack my sister said to me, "Tammy if you ever had to make a shot in curling, please let this be the one".

The result was our 8-ender! This game was finished and with our next game we went on to take the 2001 Wembley Ladies Bonspiel. It was a very special weekend for our team by winning the spiel but most importantly getting our first 8-ender.
