Playing the 6th end in a game that we were winning 5 to 2 and holding last rock we were lucky to get our 8-ender. This is Wayne's first 8-ender in 40 plus years of curling and both Don & Gayle's second 8-ender. This is also May's first year of league curling and her first 8-ender. We were all very proud to have gotten the eight and yes we had to tip a few after the game or end as the other team packed it in.
