The 8-ender was scored on November 8th, 2005 in the 4th end of the Tuesday night League at the Oliver Curling Club (British Columbia). George had to remove a rock from play and stay. He did exactly that, leaving his team with 8 rocks in the house. Ironically, George had scored an 8-ender 24 years ago on the same sheet of ice, along with teammate Manuel who was playing lead at the time.
