While curling in the Fort Nelson, B.C. Petroleum Association Bonspiel March 25/2000, team Haidey from the Fort St. John Curling Club scored an 8-ender. After taking one in the first and second ends, the opposition tied it up in the third. Haidey had the hammer back so the opposing team tried to steal in the 4th. Team Haidey kept pushing them out of the rings while keeping the shooter. The opposing skip, with his last rock, tried to freeze to a rock which was biting the button but came up short at the front of the house. Haidey drew for the 8. WOW! Who would have thunk it, game over. The team would like to thank Mighty Peace Oil Services Ltd.for their sponsorship. Thanks to Glen for sending in the picture and the report.
