A surprise 8-ender occurred in the first end of competitive Tuesday evening curling at the Carleton Place Curling Club. Team Jennex grabbed the first end 8-ender before lead, Cindy Bell, had made her way out onto the ice surface. The final score was 12-3 for the jubilant threesome and their late arriving lead.
