Our 8-ender was the very first ever since the club's founding 51 years ago. This 8-ender was a come from behind (2-5 after 7) win in the eighth and last end of the game. Final score was 10-5
We were playing under the free-guard zone rules and fortunately for us, their second promoted one of our guards into the 4-foot past their red rock. My team was able to keep delivering rocks into the house. As skip, I was able to remove a counter with my first rock and then draw for the eighth rock after the opposing skip missed a take-out.
Note in the picture my team is not dressed in curling attire because we went to broom-stack while waiting for a camera.
