
Sir Arthur Seymour Sullivan

corroborated with William S. Gilbert to write 14 Comic Operas. Many
orchestral overtures, general songs and one of the most famous of all
favourite hymns that being "Onward Christian Soldiers."
Two of Sir Arthurs final works were that of the opera "Ivanhoe" and "The Emerald Isle" which in fact was not completed by Sullivan, but by Sir Edward German, after
Sullivan's death.

Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart

An accomplish musician who by his early teenage years, was
writing pieces for piano violin and harpsicord, together with the composition of
oratorios, symphonies and operas. He wrote Masonic music before being entered
into the Craft, but from a Masonic point of view, one of his finest
works would have to be "Die

John Philip Sousa

By the age of six he was playing several instruments and had become an accomplished
musician. Published his first composition in the year of 1872 at the age
of eighteen, called "Moonlight on the
Potomac Waltzes". For twelve
years he conducted the "Presidents Own" band and served under five Presidents.
The first successful Operetta was "El
Capitan" and was presented in 1895 |
