Cera is a Calcutta born and raised Anglo-Indian, she came to Canada with her family in 1989 and settled in Toronto. She studied Kathak dance intensively for 8 years with Joanna D'Souza (Das), classical art with Vaughn Gillson and pottery with Sheherzade Alam. Presently she is a self taught patterndrafter and is teaching herself couture sewing and hopes to design clothing in the near future. She is a great lover of Hindustani vocal music and Indian film.
