On Friday afternoon, we commandeered an entire gravel parking lot at Brock University for a speed workout.
Here, John is showing Carlene the proper way to hold your arms while running, while Kelly looks on.
In one of the highlights of Flight School, John challenged Carlene to keep up with Sylvia (a very fast Penguin) for a whole lap around the parking lot. Carlene flew and managed to stay within striking distance the whole time!Saturday, July 22, 2000

On Saturday morning, we met the St. Catharines Road Runners and Walkers. They organized a 5K time trial for us on the grounds of Brock University. We took this photo at the starting line, both Penguins and St. Catharines club members participating in the race.
