cross-training machine at the gym, if I want to run for that 4th or 5th time but know my body is saying 'no'

has dropped off since the weather has improved and I do most of my running outside

Anything you'd like to add so that readers can understand you better?
I never believed I was going to be a runner, I subscribed to Runner's World for months before I ran my first step. When I did that first Penguin run back in April, I was prepared for that to be my 'try at running' and not run again. That first run changed that thinking for me. I ran side by side with Kelly and Kathryn, who were so supportive and encouraging, I thought I try again. And here I am, thinking 1/2 marathon thoughts!
