FireCracker from www.X10.com come very cheap: about 6 USD for H&S! However the software delivered with it didn’t work for me on Windows 2000. So, I decided to create my own software with Delphi V. Version 1.0 allows you to manually control or preset up to nine events on one appliance. Download here for free.

Stay tuned for version 2.0, a MDI version that will accept as many appliances that you have (or afford), and will allow you to select other port than COM1. Also check soon the Delphi Components page to download the VLCs.
