| The problem looks like this: I have 47 computers on a network (Novel 3.12), and I am responsable for them. So, I wrote an inventory database program that reads, keeps and reports all the data I need to know about every computer: characteristics, free space, banchmarks, installed fonts in windows, setup files: autoexec.bat, config.sys, cfg.net etc. Now I can get many visual pictures about the performance, speed, and available resources, so I can better manage the users' needs. I even can see the Hubs map (I have four of them!), and I can make notes for myself about minor or major interventions on the net! Call me if you want to share with me some ideas or programs!
