I dropped in to Widget's office today and asked about the new
Psion Series 5 which was announced back around June this year.
It's been shipping since July. Currently, if you order one, you
will be looking at a delay of at least 2 weeks, and possibly up
to around 4 weeks. Part of the reason for the brisk sales
is the price. The current price at Widget for the 8MB RAM
version is $1,049.00 Cdn., which is close to the prices of the
current 4MB WinCE machines.
