Welcome to the OHCC Web Site
Affordable downtown sailing for dinghy owners
OHCC is Toronto's premier club for small boat
owners. It has been the gathering place for club racers, day sailors, and many devotees of
"messing about in boats" since 1973.
OHCC is convenient. We are located in the heart
of Toronto, on the North shore of the Outer Harbour, just east of Cherry Beach.
OHCC is economical. We are a self-help club.
Our members keep fees low by sharing in property maintenance, race management and social
duties.
OHCC is relaxing. Our sailing grounds are
spacious, sheltered, uncrowded and beautiful. Our property is rich in greenery, flowers
and wildlife. And our comfortable club house, with spacious veranda, is the perfect place
to rest and socialize by the water.
OHCC is active. We have a solid racing program,
sailing for the children, and social events for all. Everyone helps fellow sailors and
lends a hand in keeping our club house and grounds shipshape.
OHCC is friendly. Our members are young and
old, families and singles, enthusiastic racers and nautical novices from all walks of
life, all find kindred spirits here, with a common love of sailing.
Sail with us this Summer!

There is nothing - - absolutely nothing - -

simply messing about in boats.
