Biography of Mounir Sahyoun
Founder and President of MNS Holdings Inc.
With more than 20 years of national and international experience, 15 of which are in management consulting. Mounir has been involved in and managed numerous consulting assignments, for a broad variety of organisations in the private and public sectors, worldwide.
Mounir's in-depth knowledge and expertise are predominantly strategic, financial and marketing oriented. He has also significant expertise in management and operational reviews which was acquired by assisting companies in the development of their growth plans.
His industry experience includes trading and distribution, retail, manufacturing, recreation, agriculture, oil and petrochemicals, education, and not-for-profit organisations.
His prior positions include: 8 years with Deloitte & Touche, Management Consultants as a Senior Consultant; Chief Financial Officer for a major engineering company; and Financial Controller for a general contracting company.
He founded Ice-Nook Family Skating Centres, a company that develops, installs and markets synthetic ice skating rinks, worldwide. He established and operated Ice-Nook's first location and pilot project in North America at Bramalea City Centre (a major shopping mall with approximately 240 stores) in Brampton, Ontario, Canada.
He is an MBA. A Certified Management Consultant for three years (1995 - 1998), accredited by the Institute of Certified Management Consultants of Ontario. In 1997, he obtained The Canadian Securities Course Certificate.
Mounir is actively involved in local municipal activities. He is a member of Markham Stouffville Hospital's Ethics Committee, Unionville Home Society's Board of Directors and Markham's Canada Day Committee. He is fluent in English and Lebanese; conversant in French; and has taken Mandarin lessons for beginners.
