A
Witch's Cauldron, one of the largest and oldest web sites on the
internet,
is run solely by me. With the help of my husband, I was able to afford
the various costs involved in creating, maintaining, and keeping my web
site on the internet for a decade. His untimely passing in 2007 has
left
me completely dependent to cover all my expenses from fixed amount of
income I receive due to being permanently disabled. Next to rent,
utility bills and food, the various
expenses required to maintain, add to, and keep my web site on the
internet
is my largest annual expense.
A Witch's
Cauldron
was created by me because I saw an shocking lack of useful (and
accurate) information
for Witches or just people who were curious as to what Witchcraft is
really
about. As I have been a Witch for over 30 years, and had the means to
do
so, I felt that I had a duty to share my knowledge with as many people
as possible. I've been blessed in that in the time my web site has been
up, I have received thousands of emails thanking me for providing
information
that is easy to understand, accurate, and much of which is not
available, or just impossible to find anywhere else on
the internet. But kind emails (though greatly appreciated) can not help
keep my web site on the internet.
Computers can
break down and require repairs, or just become useless from old
age, and need to be replaced as repairing them would cost the same
amount as getting a new one. Along with the the debt of purchasing a
new computer, I also have to pay for updated versions of graphic and
web designing programs that no longer work on newer computers, not to
mention allowing for an adequate amount of space for my web site to be
on. And the larger it gets, the more expensive
it costs, not to mention the cost of spending time being on line
participating
in my forum, or answering emails, which on average, takes over 3
hours...a day.
So if you appreciate the free lessons that cost an average over a hundred dollars to take, that I offer to you freely, no pop up or advertisements of any kind, and regular updates of useful information you won't find anywhere else, please help me keep AWC on the Internet. As much as I hate to ask for donations, I simply can't do it without you. As long as visitors feel AWC is worth keeping on the internet enough to help by making a donation of any amount, it will remain here. If visitors no longer feel it is worth having on the internet, it will disappear. The future of AWC is now in up to you.
*Paypal
is a completely secure way of making donations.
