Usual Locations:

ISC = International Student's Center = 33 St. George (just above College.)

or

Hart House, at U of T, on Hart House Circle.

The room we get varies at either location - check the white board inside the door at the ISC, or the electronic board above the Porter's office, at the South West entrance, for the Renaissance Dance Club.

Usual Time: = 7:00 PM - 9:30

Unfortunately we'll often only get the dates about 1 week in advance, now

Dances we often work on (Links are to write ups of the dance, either on these pages, or from Joy and Jealousy. If the write up is on these pages, I've noted which recording we use in class there, otherwise I include that here. More information and other reconstructions can be found in the Reconstruction section.)
• Anello - dance for two couples in a ring. Usually use the Mesura et Arte recording in class.
• Petit Vriens - Fast dance for three people playing 'follow the leader.' Usually use the Mesura et Arte recording in class.
• Rosina's Rosina - an adaptation of Guglielmo's 3 person Voltati in ça Rosina. May use the Mesura et Arte or Alta Danza recording in class.
• Rostiboli Gioioso - A dance for two by Domenico, Usually use the Mesura et Arte recording in class.
• Danse de Cleves - 2 person Burgundian bassedanse (but taught using Italian style steps)
• Jupiter also called Giove - Use the Forse Che Si, Forse Che No recording in class.
• Jupiter for 5 - the same, as twisted to be danced by 5
