During March and April 2006, HRA will conduct a traffic and speed survey for the streets Kelvin Grove, Canongate, Purcell and Sanwood. Click here to see the survey (pdf).
We have noticed a steady increase of litter on the sidewalks and lawns in our community, and it has greatly impacted the image of the Heathwood community. Please pick up any litter in front of your house as it is only by working together that we, the residents of the Heathwood community, can keep our neighbourhood a clean and desirable place to live.
| Please also note that supermarket shopping carts are provided by stores
for the convenience of their patrons while they are in the store. The shopping
carts are the property of the stores providing them and are not meant to
be used to transport purchases home. Carts littering the sidewalks can
greatly degrade the image of the community we are all living in. If you
see anyone pushing a shopping cart in our community, please educate them.
The executive members of the Heathwood Association will also be contacting,
in particular, the No Frills store to raise the issue of shopping carts
littering our community. |

| Dogs should be on leash at all times. The fine is $250 if you are caught with your dog not on leash. Also, the dog owner should pick up dog droppings immediately, especially in the park and ravine areas. Let's do our part to keep Heathwood clean and beautiful! | ![]() |
