To foster a community spirit where people are proud to live in our community and are taking ownership to improve it.
HRA is a non-profit organization with no political ties.
HRA will identify issues/concerns affecting residents of our community
HRA will call upon our elected political leaders at all levels to take action which will improve the quality of life in our neighborhood.
HRA Board will represent the best interests of all residents within the community
HRA will sponsor Social Activities such as Line Dancing, Tai Chi, Badminton at Kennedy Public School as well as BBQ Day, Clean Up Day and special meetings addressing community issues/concerns.
HRA geographical boundaries are McNichol to Steeles between Kennedy and Birchmount.
It includes approximately 1300 single family residences and two schools (Kennedy
P.S. on Elmfield and Mary Ward Catholic SS on Kennedy & McNicol). It also
includes three parks: Sanwood, Shepton Way and the North section of L’Amoreaux
park. Lastly, it includes the L’Amoreaux Community Center, one Chinese
church and Cheer Day Care Center and two small malls.
