  Wild Sarsaparilla - Single stalk, 3 compound(5) leaves, flowers on separate stalk - recall the old-time drink made from its root! Found at Wilket creek, near the Skunk Cabbage patch. There is an interesting story about this plant in the July 11, 2002 issue of "The Raven", Algonquin's newsletter.
