Recommended short fiction for 2003

Below you'll find a short, sporadically updated list of some good short fiction I've come across in 2003. This list will likely not grow too unwieldy.

* Note -- Well, the list didn't grow too unwieldy now, did it? See, I didn't actually read as much published short fiction as I would have liked. I read a ton of slush for ChiZine, and that, of course, consumed a lot of time and energy. I still have several books and magazines and e-zines I'd like to get at. But they'll have to wait. And I have some writing I'd like to do. In the meantime, you'll have to content yourself with this meager but magnificent list of stories.
