This year, we decided to add an element of adventure to our Christmas party by allowing our neighbor, Hub Climbing to host our annual Kid’s Christmas Party.

On December 20, 2014, we walked into one of the largest climbing and bouldering gyms in Canada (18,000 square feet of space) where Hub staff watched parents struggle to keep up with their kids. Although it was the first time climbing for many, staff at Hub made sure everyone had a chance to try top roping and bouldering.

Pathway families had a fantastic climbing experience and an opportunity to bond and share the holiday spirit with their colleagues. The kids, who were thrilled to test themselves and literally reach new heights, were also treated with a surprise visit from Santa who had tons of gifts from the North Pole.

This Christmas party wouldn’t have been such a great success without the help of the friendly staff at Hub Climbing, and several volunteers from Pathway Communications. We thank everyone for their contributions and looking forward to organizing a similar event for team and relationship building in the near future.
